Hello Brad,
I  am working on my latest invention in which I don't know exactly the kind of material it will be made of, just that it most likely has plastics as part of  it. I want to contact a plastic company about helping determine what  material but worried if I don't have some security on the invention could end up loosing my product. I am ready to get a provisional  patent filed but not sure if the material is an important part of the patent  information detail. Please i need ssome enlightenment here.

Hello Brad,
Thank you for spending time to answer all questions. my inquiry is based on a product that i am working on. i have seen some products that are close to it in terms of where they are used. my product does not solve a particular problem, instead its a form of aesthetics, and nothing exactly like it exists on patent while others that are similar claim to do one or more things. what do you advice i do in terms of protecting my products.

just to be sure i understand you. i just have an idea of a software application that can be developed and used as a mobile app and on websites, are you saying that i could file a PPA or a NPPA for the app as a product before i start developing the app?

i understand that its possible to patent an application. how do i do this without the fear of my idea been taken in the process of developing the app, afterall i am only able to patent an idea i can show its workability.
