getting a meeting

Hey brad,

I really find your posts and newsletters very helpful but my question has to do with after the patent. I'm still in the process of getting a prototype finished along with getting a final draft for my patent ready but I'm not sure how to go about getting a meeting with big companies. I definitely think I have a product of interest to the market the companies are in but I'm not sure the right way to go about getting in contact with them. Any advice?

Brad

Getting the product sold or licensed is (in my opinion) the hardest part.  Getting a patent is tough but fairly straight forward.  Sorry I don't have any tricks or advice.  I would certainly spend a lot of time on LinkedIN and look at companies in the same area as your invention and see if you can find a sales or business development guy that you can call or email to see if they will take a look at your idea or put you in touch with the proper person at the company that handles it.
