Who Am I?

My name is Bradley Fach and I am the president and founder of PatentFile, LLC. I have been writing and filing provisional patent applications for over 12 years. I am a registered patent agent with the US Patent and Trademark Office (reg. no. 53,855) and I have filed over 500 patent applications in many different technology areas. PREMIUM PACKAGE We write and file everything for you

You hire us to file your provisional patent application for you. We will start off with a phone call or email to discuss your invention and your goals to commercialize your new idea. We will then do a basic patent search (2 hours max. US and European patents only) and prepare a list to share with you showing related patents and other inventors and companies working in this area. Once we understand where the competition is, a professional patent application will be written for you including informal drawings and up to three claims. Once we are both happy with the application, we will submit all the documents for you to the US Patent Office (note: price above does not include the USPTO filing fee of $130). We will then follow-up with you throughout the year to keep you up-to-date of any patent deadlines and we are available to you for any additional patent or licensing questions.

Payment is 50% at the start of the project and 50% before final submission to the patent office.
Estimated cost:
Simple invention (0-2 moving parts) - about $1,200 to $1,400 plus USPTO fee
Complex invention (2-5 moving parts or electrical) - about $1,500 plus USPTO fee
Software invention and smart phone apps (1-3 unique processes) - about $1,600 to 1,800 plus USPTO fee
