After filling a provisional, how can I add to it , correct something.... ?
Can I correct then fill again the same subject as an another new provisional?
Thanks

If you are making very minor changes like correcting spelling and grammar errors you can file a "substitute specification" for no extra fee.

However, if you are changing the drawings or adding in new pieces or features of your invention you are not allowed to add any "new matter" to the application once its been filed and you should file a new/separate provisional application.

How about if changing, modifying or adding an explanation on how the invention works, without "new matter"? There will be no changes on the drawings.  Will that be allowed?

Adding in a new description on how it works will most likely be treated as "new matter" so to be safe I would file that as a separate/new application.
