mistake in my PPA
« on: November 22, 2017, 11:42:28 AM »
Hello,

After I filed my PPA, I realized I made a mistake. Basically, the mistake says: "ulnar side of the hand". It should have said "radial side of the hand". I believe the rest of the provisional patent is very well described with lots of details, and "ulnar side of the hand" does not make sense in the context of the invention. So common sense indicates that it should be "radial side of the hand" and that this is simply a mistake. However, if looked at only literally, it definitely changes the description of how the invention works. Should I re-file another PPA? If so, does that affect future foreign filing?

Thanks so much!

Brad

Does the figures show the proper radial location?   If so, it should be a big deal and you can just wait until you file the full non-provisional to correct this.
