Brad Fach is the president and founder of PatentFile, LLC and has over 12 years of patent filing experience.  Mr. Fach is registered to file patents by the US Patent and Trademark Office and has filed over 500 patent applications ranging from complex biotechnology inventions to consumer products and software.

In addition to his patent expertise, Mr. Fach is also a successful inventor and entrepreneur with an MBA.  Mr. Fach started his first company in 2003 which he grew into a profitable business and sold it in 2007.  He is able to offer practical advice on both patent matters and business strategy and understands how important strong patents are for early stage companies.  Mr. Fach is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP)  and has 5+ years of experience negotiating and licensing patent rights with small and large technology companies.

Mr. Fach has worked as a patent agent for a top-3 patent law firm, as a consultant for Fortune 500 companies, and for research universities.  He is currently the founder and chair of the Licensing Executive Society Charlotte Chapter which is the premier professional organization focused on patent and intellectual property licensing.  Some organizations Mr. Fach has worked with include:  BASF, Glaxo Smith Kline (was Stiefel Labs), Ceres Inc., Birch, Stewart, Kolasch, & Birch, Destum Partners, The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  Brad helped create and manage a large patent portfolio for Ceres, Inc.  which  sold for for over 100 million dollars.
